Yes, we have a free restroom for your convenience.

Yes, absolutely, and we invite you to share them with us via email, or tag us in them on social media.

Are Your Tours Accessible For People with Disabilities?

Yes, with advanced notice (two business days), most of our tours can accommodate people with disabilities. Please keep in mind that Marion was built on uneven terrain and the streets, and sidewalks, can be uneven.

What is Old South Tours’ perspective on Marion’s complicated history involving race?

The history of our 300 year old city is complex, and it’s riddled with difficult, challenging stories. At Old South Tours, our priority is a true representation of Marion's history - leaving it's interpretation to our guests. We believe that telling the authentic story of our history is an important contribution we can make to a better future for our community and beyond.

How long are your tours?

Our walking tours range from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours, depending on your tour of choice, and cover about 2 miles. We start on time and stop at various sites along the tour. The city’s sidewalks, weather, and terrain influence the pace. If you or a member of your group has a disability, please speak with our staff prior to booking your tour.

Is Parking Available?

All members are to park at our headquarters.

What About Rain Or Inclement Weather?

We present tours only during sunshine, or during light to no rain. Marion is famous for its summer afternoon passing showers. Feel free to call us at 843-289-7546 if you have any concerns.

Can I Tip My Guide?

Gratuities are always appreciated, but never expected.
